Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address through our authentication provider.

Searches, chats and images. The queries and messages you send to Jeannie, the preferences you share, and any images you upload for visual search.

Saved items and history. Products you save and your search history, which we use to personalize your recommendations.

Usage and device data. Basic interaction logs, approximate region, and browser/device information, collected through standard server logs and local storage.

We use your information to operate the assistant (understand your requests and return product results), personalize your experience and recommendations, maintain your account and saved items, keep the service secure, and improve how Jeannie works. We may send you service-related messages.

We share information with service providers that help us run Jeannie, only as needed to provide the service:

AI providers. Your messages and uploaded images are processed by third-party AI models (such as OpenAI) to generate responses.

Product data providers. To find products, we query third-party shopping data sources (such as Google Shopping via licensed APIs); your search terms may be sent to them.

Infrastructure. Authentication, database and hosting providers that store and serve your data.

Advertising and affiliate partners. We may work with advertising and affiliate networks (see our Terms for the affiliate disclosure).

Legal. When required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information.

We use local storage and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and store your saved items and history. You can clear this data through your browser settings.

We keep your account data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see "Your rights" below).

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing hello@jeannieapp.com. You can also clear locally-stored data through your browser at any time.

Jeannie is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.

Your information may be processed and stored in the United States.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above reflects the latest version, and material changes will be reflected here.
